Many years ago the BBC used to run "public information films" on TV in Britain -- Short 30 or 60-second films to get across some safety point.

During the mid-1970s they made several such films on overhead power lines. As I recall, one was two kids flying a kite, another was somebody pushing a boat with a tall mast, and a third was someone with a long fishing rod. There may have been more.

They stick in my mind to this day, and all ended with a freeze-frame of a huge electrical arc and the caption "Play it safe."

Not a bad idea at all. It's scary how ignorant people are of electrical hazards. I've talked to a lot of people, and many are convinced that 120VAC "Can't kill you."
