The following is a list of errata that have been identified in the 2002 edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety
Code, the list also includes editorial changes that will be made in the next edition (2006).


Section 4 Subcommittee – Add “G. Montminy – Régie du bâtiment du Québec, Québec, Québec”.

Section 54 Subcommittee Chair - “D. Potvin” should read “J. Poulin”.

Rule 2-010(1) – “alternation” should read “alteration”.

Rule 6-300(1)(b)(ii) – “or to” should read “except in”.

Rule 24-104(7) – The reference to Subrule 24-104(5) should be to Subrule 24-104(6).

Rule 26-720(d) – “an cupboard” should read “a cupboard”.

Rule 30-804(3)(a) – The first “transformers” should read “transformer”.

Rule 34-302 – “transformers” should read “transformer”.

Rule 62-126(1) – “ro” should read “to”.

Rule 62-200 – “62-224” should read “62-226”.

Rule 70-000(3) – The Standard designation should read “CSA Standard Z240 RV Series”.

Rule 70-106(d) – “exposed cap” should read “exposed end”.

Rule 70-110(2) – “oher” should read “other”.
Appendix A – Add “CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 126-M91 (R1997), Cable Tray Systems”.

Appendix B Note to Rule 4-004, third and fifth paragraphs — “Table D10A or D10B” should

Holy smokes....I know we should allow for errors, but isn't this a bit much? Guess I'll wait for the official release of a reprinted updated book.
