Is some type of bonding required on the Hot tub motor when there is not copper piping in the house? The house has the new plastic water piping througout.

What's there to be bonded?

Check with your AHJ first, but the equipment grounding conductor run with your power source should be suffice to bond the motor.

I had an AHJ once ask me to run a solid #8 copper from the motor ground lug to a sub panel in the attic. The motor wasn't installed last time I was there and I haven't been back since so I don't know if it was ever installed. I sure wish I could ask him what article he was quoting.
