Just wondering if theres an easier way.

I have a 400amp (300 maybe?) meter can with dual lugs to feed 2 200 amp main breaker panels.

So for the ground I come from each panel and run #6 to the ground rods. Thats fairly standard.

Now for the water main bond (or is it SEC?) I have ussually been running #4 from each panel to the water main.

Is there an easier way to do this? Can I just pull #4 from 1 panel to the water main, then pull a #4 jumper from that panel to the other?
