It goes to support two representatives on each Code Making Panel, to pay for representatives to go to the various chapter meetings, developing training materials, pay for the office staff's salaries, pay for the international headquarters offices, and the list goes on. If you are not involved in the IAEI and taking advantage of their functions, you are right . . . the magazine is not worth the price. On the other hand, if you look at the good they do for safety, the betterment of the Code, and training they do, it is well worth the price.

They tout themselves as the keystone of the electrical industry and I believe they are right. A man is a fool to believe he can be perfect. Everyone needs a well trained inspector to look over his work and literally save lives.
