One man here. I like to think I do the work of many men. Estimator, installer, materials handling, secretary, accountant, etc. 2E1X4 You are absolutely right about the fact we all worked for someone else. That is why we now work for ouselves and particularly by ourelves. So much LESS bs. You have to understand it is not just a matter of giving someone a chance. There are extra insurance costs, tax costs, payroll to keep, responibility for someone elses work, waiting to see if they will show up today, when is the first injury, and making sure they are working everyday. Then what about healthinsurance, 401k plans, it goes on and on. There is far more involved than most people will ever know unless they do it for themselves. Thereare days I come home at six oclock eat dinner play with the kids, get them to bed and go back to work for a few hours. Estimates, billing, phone calls etc. Adding help for me would really cancel out the whole reason I work for myself. Independence!
