I cannot find my 93 Code. The local inspector told me I cannot use NM-B for the interior wiring from the panel to the disconnect in a single family dwelling. From the DC I was going to switch to PVC and continue to the hot tub.This will feed a hot tub located on a grade level exterior slab. He could not provide a Code ref saying his book was in the car. Could someone provide a Section with a direct quote, please.
As a side note he told me that allowing a method from a later Code would be breaking the law as that Code has not been adopted. Your thoughts?
