To use a 5-15 recept. with the appropraite "ungrounded outlet" sticker, doesn't the NEC require that receptacle to be GFI protected? Never heard him mention that.

What about getting shocked when he opened up the 5 wire-nutted neutrals? He doesn't seem to grasp the idea that he opened the circuit and inserted himself in series with the load.

Ditto his "explanation" about why a receptacle ground shouldn't just be jumpered to the white wire: Something about AC energizing the white wire 60 times a second????!! [Linked Image]

Seems to me that that last caller left every bit as confused (if not more so) than when he started. He certainly didn't sound like someone who'd just had a 20-year-old question solved.
