Since I see We are on a Pool type train of thought and it does somehow make me feel warmer [Linked Image] Let me try a question of my own.

We know (right?) that the pool itself and associated equipment need to be bonded together but it is not required to be connected to the equipment grounding conductor of the service or circuit supplying power. My question(s) is which way is best and does that change depending on location? Inside, outside, or other factors.
In other words, if it was just as easy to do it either way, which would be preferrable?and why?
