On our local news, a picture of the site was shown. The pole was the center pole of a very large tent, that was to be used as a dining area. It projected through the top of the tent, and was at least 15' tall. It looked like they didn't pay attention to where they were setting the tent, (directly below the lines) and the pole was most likely being placed from inside the tent, where no one could see where it was going.

A valuable but very costly lesson was learned. [Linked Image]
