I don't see anything that even resembles that in the IRC.
3603.3 says that: A minimum of one 20 ampere rated branch circuit shall be provided for receptacles in the laundry area and shall serve only receptalce outlets in the laundry area.
38001.8 says: At least one receptacle outlet shall be installed to serve laundry appliances.
