Frank don't bypass safety features unless you like being sued! (1-800-LAW-SUIT) Fix it, or walk away from it!
Many of these newer ones are send, and recieve on both sides. Some are one side. It could be something else too, like a loose wire, operator error, who knows, but don't diable it!
