Baseboard outlets are a Pain-In-The-Butt!!!
Definitely time consuming over cutting a hole in drywall with a drywall knife. Was the attic cramped & nasty?
I think your price is very fair, but you didn't cover your butt, so it's time to negotiate & since you're done you don't have much negotiating power.
Put it in writing, ESPECIALLY with friends or relatives.
