We had been looking to trade in my '99 Suburban (The Behemoth Bren-Mobile) which we had gotten a good deal on about a year and half ago. We should've taken the earlier offers since they were talking in the $18K range. By the time we found a suitable car they were offering $9K and we just couldn't take the loss... We're borrowing a Saturn 2-door for our recent highway runs to the doctors 100 miles away and the $15 fill-up is a lot easier to take than the $75 ones but I truly don't feel as safe as I did in my SUV.
