But on the serious side of things, both the people that are using the Chat rooms and those that are logging in for the first time.
There is a certain delay, between the time that you enter your details and hit the "LOGIN NOW" button and when the Chat-room actually opens for you.
Depending upon wether you have a Dial-Up connection or an ADSL connection, be prepared to wait a wee while.
When you hear the dog bark, you are in.
After that, click on the little icon with the hammer and the screwdriver.
That's the Control Panel, you will be instructed to wait while it loads, when it does, check the boxes as you feel necessary.
BTW, if you ever find that you cannot type in the Text Entry Area, click on it with your left mouse button, you should always have a flashing cursor to input words in that area.
It's a lot easier to have you do this than explain it, like most things, it get's easier once you've done it.
