The thing that wiremold calls a "combination connector" fits the description of your mouse.

Question- About the 1/2" KO at the top. It seems like I'll have to cut a small 1" hole in the ceiling for the NM connector to fit in there. The tightening screws on the NM clamp stick out a bit.

What type of nipple are you suggesting? EMT or a short length of the wiremold?

I think I understand except for those two details.
