Have a factory that burned down last week. All of the investigators are there checking out the fire.
Building had a new 400 amp. 3/0, 4 wire service installed in early April. POCO hit this with 2 drops from transformer. Crimps were 3to 4" apart from each other in no particular manner.
Wind speeds this last week between 15 to 45 mph.
Wind causing wires to make contact with each other possilbly crimps connecting.
If a phase wire came into contact with a neutral wire could this possibly electrify the neutral ground system and bond system to create a spark where the bond wire ran across the roof joist and metal gussets and combustible material in the attic?
Note, the fuses at the power pole did not blow.
