Just because it fits doesn't mean that you can use it. There are "classified" breakers that are made to fit in panels made by other manufacturers. These "classified" breakers have been tested in the same manner as the "listed" breakers made by the panel manufacturer. The "classified" breakers are supplied with a list of panels that they have been classified for use in.
