Yeah, exactly...Bureau of Worker's Compensation. There are two groups that I know of here in Ohio. One is called the Sheakley Group and one is called Compensation Consultants Inc.(
http://www.cciworkerscomp.com/). They send out those "Temporary Authorization to Review" forms. Then they collect your information from the BWC and pout you in a grouping based on your "safety record".
Now mind you, that's 95% off your rates, not off your premium. And that's the highest "tier" which is easy for me to make it into being only 3 men big and in business just two years. No WC claims. Its supposedly like a group thing. You know how you get better health insurance rates the bigger your group is? (like any of those rates are good...)
I don't think its a scam really, I mean I got in contact with one through the Better Business Bureau that I belong to and one through the BIA. I've gotten stuff from other companies as well through the mail.
I can't be the only one that's ever heard of tis can I? LOL!
