When we have work away from the shop it can be for months at a time.
We get 10% kick in pay, a per diem, good lodging, mileage to and from home once a week.
Flexible hours, OT if the guys want to work, you get into less trouble if you keep busy.
We use our own vehicles, and buy our own food.
About once a week we will be treated to a night out.
The company is helpful if emergencies come up, fly you home if needed, post bail if needed. (sometimes things are a little wild away from home)
