In a wye transformer, the phase A,B,C , and neutral are connected in the windings. If you bond the neutral to the grounding electrode, doesn't that create a direct path from the phases to ground?
Phases are connected to neutral + neutral is bonded to grounding electrode = phases are making contact with ground.
How is that not a ground fault?
