You are too funny.

Some tanks have aluminum frames which contact the water. Some have various metal objects hung over edge which are in contact with the cover was is grounded along with the light.

So if the drill had no EGC and the water was not touching something grounded, then it was faked.

It suspect that the water was in contact with a grounding conductor. It may be something as simple as a heating element that has direct metal contact with the water. But yeah, it could have been contrived (though I sure hope not; that's called misleading the public!).

You would have had to have been there.
