Hello,
We were checking a job in a stock room of a gas station. They want to install wall switches to turn the pumps on and off. (Morning and night) The owner presently operates the Ckt. Breakers in the panel. Am I allowed to install a wall switch between the breaker and the wiring going out to the pump? The breaker looks like a 2 pole, but there are breakers that also breaks the nuetrals for pumps? I have not seen the inside of the panel yet. If it is that type of breaker, can I install a normal Single pole switch, or must I break the nuetrals also, like the breaker is doing? I just thought that possibly, the breaker is rated SWD, then he could keep it as is.
Thanks
