I started my Career in 1981 in a pulp mill the resession hit in 1982 and finished my training in 1988,first worked as shift
electrician in a local sawmill and then back to the pulp mill
doing new construction and some time on a line crew and ended my career on maintenance.decided to try working on my own 2008,now do reno work and some commercial work. Some weeks are very busy others are slow, word of mouth seems to get me the most work I have join a local networking group BNI and I do get some work with that connection.I very much like working for myself. It seems the older I get the more I want to be my own boss.My wife helps once in a while only on resi work here in Canada only resi work with a helper not an apprentice required.Still a lot of construction in this part of Canada.Vancouver Island.
