Only if within sight of motor, using branch circuit breaker(a dedicated circuit breaker in panelboard for motor) as a disconnecting means is enough without additional safety switch regardless of motor horsepower for NEC code. Is that right?

NEC 430.109(A) shows that "molded case circuit breaker" can be served as a disconnecting means for motor.

However NEC 430.109(B)describe that "For stationary motors of 1⁄8 hp or less, the branch-circuit overcurrent shall be permitted to serve as the disconnecting means.

Would you enlighten me with your opinion?
