ECN Forum Forums Code Related Discussion NEC & other Code issues Arc Flash Protection

I am doing some research on PPE for arc flash. In a mine where MSHA is the code there is some confusion about what applies. I say the NEC applies and that OSHA applies. But I am hearing a lot of grumbling that OSHA does not apply unless MSHA does not cover it.

Is there a part of the NEC that talks about ARC Flash or is that just in OSHA?
