Here is the newest addition to our family!!!
She is a Hen Duck - Breed is unknown. Looks like a mix between Gadwall, Mottled Duck , Widgeon and Mallard, so if anyone knows for sure, please chime in!

Set #2 of 2: "Peepers" between 6 Weeks of age, and currently (March, 2007)

She is a really neat addition to our family!

We got her from a Pet Store, at the ripe old age of 2 days old!

Someone had found her separated from the rest of her family, and thought she was abandoned - so they brought her to the Pet Store.
The Clown in charge of the Pet Store figured she did not need any Water, and she would be OK in a fish tank (I start ranting here, so will stop).
Nevertheless, I adopted her immediately. My Wife and I rushed her home, got her Hydrated, kept careful watch over her all night, all the next day and all the next night - which resulted in a completely healthy and happy Duck!

Just thought you all would like to see a happy story + change of pace!
