A customer of mine wants to control his landscape lighting (that is pluged into a recpt. on the side of the house) with a remote control, as in hand-held, battery opperated switching device. I tryed to get him to just put a switch in the wall in the living room, or on the porch, but no luck. Any ideas, or know of products that might work? The switching means, (ie, the reciever) would have to be outside, and about 30 or 40 feet away from where the remote would be used most of the time, and on the other side of the wall. (As in, the remote might be used in the liveing room, inside.)
Can anybody help? I'm haveing a hard time finding anything, and the local supply house looks at me as if I'm from mars.
