This happens too often. This was local to me.

ADELPHI, Md. -One worker was electrocuted at Pepco's College Park substation after coming in contact with a charged power line at a substation.
Capt. Chauncey Bowers, spokesman for Prince George's County Fire and EMS, says the worker touched the charged line and died just after 8 a.m. Monday.

Bowers says the call initially came in as a plant fire, but personnel who responded didn't have to fight a blaze at the plant in the 2,800 block of Metzerott Road.

Pepco says 1,700 customers are without power due to the incident. The company isn't sure when power will be restored.
