seem to recall seeing a few of these still in operation in Westphalia between Aachen & Koln when I lived there a few years back.. (circa 97')
Surprises me... never heard of these cars being in service in Germany. Might have been quite similar cars though.
Steam heat... some Polish trains going to Vienna still have that!
