Maybe it's just the photos, but what makes these different from a standard British plug? The earth (top) pin on the sockets looks slightly shorter vertically but I cannot be sure.
South African round pin 15A plugs for clean/UPS power have the top 2mm shaved off the earth pin in order to mate with a similar shaped socket.
BTW, many moons ago when the UK used 110V (DC?) on domestic supplies, what kind of plugs were used? Is there a BS 110V plug?
