Some pics of extension cords in a vintage shop, used for neon
lights and (I assume) underground pumps. All pictures taken in the
basement.
Pic1: Six-tap in wall recept., with two extension cords and a plug-in
transformer. Yes, the transformer leads are tape-spliced.

Pic2: Found the end of the blue cord. It feeds a three-tap with one
thing plugged in. That thing is a neon sign. For some reason, and you
can just see it in the picture, they used a cheater plug on the neon
sign, for no reason. The cord isn't going anywhere, it's zip-tied
pretty good.

Pic3: Orange cord coiled in base of I-beam. It's run at the bottom of
the wall behind the black-plastic material. The cord goes to a pump in a manhole in the basement floor.
