I do not remember the designate name for this conductor but it was used for tempory lighting mainly on constuction sites. It was two conductors twisted together.A person could install lamp holders anywhere on the wires. I would see it suspended with nails though hallways and rooms in apartments, sidewalk protection shelters on constuction site etc.
