Hi everyone:

I am looking for a little help on sizing cables for a 800 amp service. When we use table 2 of the C.E.C to find a Tech R-90 3 conductor copper cable, we do not have to derate using table 5-C right? Well my question is: If I am paralleling 3-300kcmil teck cables to provide a 800 amp service do I have to use table 5-C to derate my cables down to 70% because of now having 9 conductors. Does it not state somewhere that because in the 3 parallel runs, each phase has 3 condutors paralled to have the same highs and lows on the sine wave that we can look at it as a single condutor. I am trying not to have to run 4 or 5 parallel runs

Thanks for any help you can give me on this
