Follow along as We
create our own site:
- We went to http://signup.Electrical-Contractor.net
and chose our Name:
The name chosen was " Contractor.Electrical-Contractor.net
" and "Next"
was clicked.
- The next page comes up and it says our name is Available. (If
yours is not
you have to go back and choose another). And the "100%
FREE Hosting"
option was chosen. This means that We'll be allowing an advertising
banner
on our pages. There are options to remove it if that's what you
want, but that
would mean a small charge per month. Click "Next"
- A simple form comes up asking for Name, Email Address, and to pick
a
password (6 characters minimum) for your account. You also have the
option
here to sign up to receive special offers and information by email.
If you do not
want anything leave as it is. If you do, just check the ones that
you want.
At the bottom a 4 character security code is displayed in large
type. Copy this
exactly as is into the box and click "submit"
- Next page has more things you can subscribe to. Just select (or
deselect) the
ones that interest you and click "next"
- Next page asks you to enter your password to login and gives you
another chance
to select a banner free website for a small fee per month. Enter
your new password
and "Login".
- Your Website account has been created. You are at a Welcome page
and an Email
has been sent to you confirming your account info and contains some
other info
for your information as well as links to get "in" to your
website to edit it at any time.
A temporary page has been setup at your address This is what it
looks like
- Please Note: in addition to the links provided you
can always get back into the site
to make changes to the site by going to the website address and
clicking on the Banner
where it says "My Member Area" (it will ask you for your
password)
